ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Elizaveta Chalenko is an international film producer working across Europe and the United States, with a strong focus on English-language and globally positioned projects. She is known for her ability to develop, package, and execute talent-driven films at an international level.
Her most recent project is The Price of Peace, a major international political thriller written and directed by four-time Academy Award nominee Anthony McCarten, the acclaimed writer behind The Theory of Everything, Darkest Hour, Bohemian Rhapsody and The Two Popes. Produced alongside Anthony McCarten and Matthew Salloway of Salloway Studios, the film brings together an acclaimed international cast including Guy Pearce, Jared Harris, Merab Ninidze, Mia Threapleton, and Danny Huston. Set against the historic 1945 Potsdam Conference, the film follows Harry S. Truman, Winston Churchill, and Joseph Stalin as they negotiate the future of the post-war world.
Her recent slate also includes Baton, co-produced in partnership with David Beckham’s Studio 99, featuring an international cast including Edgar Ramírez, Rosario Dawson, and Noah Beck, and developed alongside major sports partners including MLS and Inter Miami.
Elizaveta is also producing Captivated, a true-crime thriller inspired by the infamous kidnapping of John Paul Getty III. Directed by Dito Montiel and starring Al Pacino, the film revisits one of the most notorious kidnapping cases of the 20th century through the world of the Calabrian mafia.
Her upcoming producing projects include God of the Rodeo, directed by Rosalind Ross and produced alongside Ridley Scott and Giannina Scott, with Snoop Dogg starring and producing through Death Row Pictures. Based on Daniel Bergner’s acclaimed book, the film is set inside Louisiana’s notorious Angola prison and centers on its historic inmate rodeo.
Her previous work includes the New York-set thriller Sanctuary, starring Margaret Qualley and Christopher Abbott, which premiered at TIFF and was acquired by Neon, as well as The World to Come, starring Vanessa Kirby, Katherine Waterston, and Casey Affleck, which premiered in competition at the Venice Film Festival.
Elizaveta has also established a strong track record within the international festival circuit, with multiple films premiering in the Official Competition at the Cannes Film Festival over several consecutive years. Most recently, she co-produced Limonov: The Ballad of Eddie, written by Paweł Pawlikowski and starring Ben Whishaw, which premiered in Official Competition at Cannes.
In 2025, Elizaveta co-founded Sub Rosa Film Fund, a Los Angeles–Dubai-based film financing platform focused on international film production and strategic investment partnerships.
